Dengue (IgG & IgM), Serum
About
If a person exhibits symptoms and has recently been exposed to the virus, this test can identify if they have dengue. Detection of dengue antibodies, both IgM and IgG, in a first blood sample indicates that the person has likely been infected with dengue virus in the last few weeks. IgM antibody testing can be positive if a person has been exposed to a comparable virus, such as chikungunya.
